A little birdy told me there are places in this land to trade these unique Bitmap creatures. I warn you, it ain't so simple!

These are Block Monsters were only recently discovered by the Blockamon Professor himself, who gathered us together at Blockamoto Labs to launch a community Study, led by Sir Whitepaper.

Me?

He asked ME to seek those interested in Blockamon and give them the lay of the land when it comes to the Blockamon market, because it's a little tricky to navigate right now. But as the Blockamon study progresses, the tools will make things much simpler, so more people can join the fun.

With that being said, if you want to learn how to trade Blockamon right now, before it becomes easy, listen up!

I'm going to show you exactly how to buy, sell, and identify Blockamon on the market with the current available tools.

Now, *squawk*, tell me, are you in the market to buy a Blockamon, or are you looking to sell?

Buying Blockamon

Woah, not so fast! It ain't just a matter of rocking up to a Blockamon shop and purchasing one, at least not yet.

First, you have to venture into the realm of Bitmap. Blockamon are Bitmap's at heart, after all.

Currently there is no filtering on marketplaces for Blockamon, so in my example I'll show you how to find Blockamon within the Bitmap collection on Magic Eden.

Sifting for patterns

The first thing you wanna do is head to Magic Eden's Bitmap page. What you'll see is a sea of Bitmaps. If you're lucky, you might see a pattern at the floor! But in general, we're going to need to narrow things down a bit.

Hit the filter button in the top left, and go down to weight, and set to Under 10k. This will leave you with bitmaps in the range where you would find patterns.

Now, it's not guaranteed that all these are patterns, so you have to check by entering the bitmap number at bitlords.land and looking for the pattern indicator. This will also show you the supply of this particular pattern.

Now you can make your decision to buy or not, no pressure!

Finding specific patterns

Oh, so you're a Blockamon catcher? Don't tell me you're trying to catch all of 'em. I sense a budding Blockamon champion here!

So, let me break it down like this...

You can see each and every Blockamon using the bitlords.land/patterns. Once you identify a pattern you want to find on the market, head to the Marketplace section of Bitlords.

This will show you all the Bitmaps available on marketplaces like Magic Eden and Ordinals Wallet.
