# Check if you own Bitmon

If you are already an avid Bitmap collector, it's possible you already have a Bitmon. Therefore it's important to check your existing collection for Bitmon. Here's how:

1. Go to bitlords.land
2. Connect your wallet
3. Check your Wallet
4. Identify potential Bitmon
5. Click through to check if it's a recognized pattern
6. If you see the pattern indicator, it's a Bitmon

Now you know how to check if a Bitmap is a Bitmon, you're going to want to **fill out your Bitdex**.
